So.
Day numba two of my little bloggity-blog. I realize how much more easily I can write my thoughts on the computer than by hand. I made a journal in middle school that I would write in almost everyday, and that was much easier than having a physical book that people could snoop in, and it has happened.
That, as well as the fact that after so long my hand cramps and my handwriting, while better than others, goes from beautiful calligraphy that makes grown men weep* to nearly the eloquent prose of a blind, armless hippo with seizures**.
I've found that as of late, nothing has really made me to happy to be finishing my studies. I'm currently taking general education classes at a community college to raise my GPA so I can go to the school I want to, and as it's a technical school and I'm not technical, it's hard to find my nitch. I've been here for the last 3 semesters, and while I've met plenty of new people (as well as many I've known for some time), I'm not where I feel I belong.
So I've been experimenting with trying to raise my mood by boosting others. It was an idea that just came to mind a few weeks ago: what would happen to my mood and general outlook on most things if I complimented at least 3 people a day? Would it change me, or would I pretty much just stay the same as I am, just feeling a little better about myself? I was a little reluctant to try it. Last thing I needed was to blurt something out to a complete stranger and be seen as a moron.
But, after quickly coming to the realization that I do that on a daily basis when I'm with people I know, I sucked it up and tried it. Just today, I complimented 4 people, and actually became fast friends with one of them. There was usually no previous acknowledgment; in 3 cases I had just seen that person when I decided to compliment them. The 4th one was a guy with beautiful hair, and I had noticed it and decided to wait a bit before approaching him. Thankfully he was used to the compliments (feakin' jerk...I was super jealous DX), as many people would be a little freaked out at some person complimenting them on something like that. I dunno, but if it's good, flaunt what you got.
As I think more on it, I've found that it's almost scary how simple one little thing can impact someone else so profoundly. Seeing peoples' faces just light up when something as simple as mentioning their nice perfume or their cool Zelda belt buckle can truly make their day, or even month. With the country going out of all sorts of whacks, having some sunlight in an otherwise cloudy prospect can really mean a lot.
I just hope more pick up the trend and keep it going. We all certainly need it.

I think what you did is really nice, and about your question of the day, if I was a guy I would cat call girls, burp in public, and walk around without a shirt on.
